October 13-15
SeaTac Marriott Hotel - Seattle
For up-to-date information on the conference, including any alerts to sessions which may be cancelled during the conference, please visit the website often.
This year instead of our usual 20-24 presentations, we are offering over 40 presentations! In addition to these 90-minute sessions, we will be offering over a dozen 3-hour workshops!
Some presentations will be offered in-person, some will be remote, and a few will even be hybrid. You will have a choice of attending the conference in person or virtually (although only a limited number of talks will be offered virtually).
You’ve come to expect quality professional development that spans a diverse range of topics from WSASP and this year will be no exception! We have nationally recognized speakers from Maine, Illinois, Florida, Connecticut, Colorado and Oregon. We have speakers from universities, school districts, private consultation firms, publisher sponsored, various agencies, as well as from our own state department, OSPI.
Most importantly, we have many presentations that would benefit the counselors and administrators you work with at your schools. So many in fact, that we have a special registration category for non-psychologists. Please share this conference and its offerings with the counselor(s) and principal/admin in your buildings. For example, we have a talk by Rachel-Brown-Chidsey of the University of Maine entitled, “In This Together: How School Psychologists Can Collaborate with Principals to Improve Student Learning Outcomes.” You may even consider inviting your principal to join you either in person or remotely to watch this presentation. This presentation along with some other collaborative talks, will be presented through hybrid delivery, making it easier for administrators and counselors to attend.
We look forward to seeing you!
