SHB 1760 Student skills (SEL benchmark workgroup bill) a. This bill passed the education committee in the house, and was referred to the appropriations committee in 2015. This session it has been retained in the current status. Translation, this bill will have no further action taken on it this session. 3. SHB 1900 School counselors, etc. (defining the roles of the school psychologist, school counselor, and school social worker) a. This bill passed through the house! It is now in the Senate Education committee to move through that body. Translation, this bill is “alive” and moving through the process this session. b.
